We welcome your furry friends at The Villages at Pecan Grove! We’re a pet-friendly community with a pet park, pet spa, and plenty of green space both in our community and around our neighborhood. We are pleased to accept cats and dogs, as well as a number of non-traditional pets: turtles, non-poisonous frogs, domestic hamsters, hermit crabs, gerbils, small domesticated birds, and domestic fish. Snakes, spiders, ferrets, and iguanas are not allowed due to liability reasons.

A maximum of three pets is allowed. No individual weight limit is in effect; however, if a resident has three dogs, the weight for all three cannot exceed 75 lbs. in total. A one-time fee of $350 applies to your first pet; one-time fees of $150 apply to your second and third. The monthly fee per pet is $25. Fees for non-traditional pets may vary if applicable.

Unless used as an assistance animal, restricted dog breeds are not allowed, including the following: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Husky, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Beauceron, Belgian Malinois, St. Bernard, and all "mixes" of the above breeds.
